The Plumbing Student position is a paid training program in which students will be taught at a rigorous pace to meet the standard of a 'truck ready' service plumber at Hoffmann Brothers. Students, by the end of the program, must show mastery of troubleshooting, repairing, and replacing water heaters, sump pumps, toilets, faucets, garbage disposals and bathroom fixtures. Assessments will be given throughout the training and passing scores will be required to remain in the program.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Engage in classroom and lab activities to build knowledge of service plumbing.
Successful completion of assessments and tasks throughout program.
Assist plumbing technicians on jobsites with tasks assigned.
Maintain record of hours worked daily and weekly.
Perform all duties with a focus on safety of self and others.
Maintain a clean and organized workplace in the office, lab, and customers' property.
Meet weekly with Plumbing Training Lead to monitor progress of learning and mastery of content.
Self-motivate to put in extra time and effort when needed to master content.
